18 & Home

Yeah so today I am 18 years old and don't ask me what it feels like because I really don't know. I feel normal and like today is just any day. I know 1 thing and that is that when you're little some things are better than being grown up for example christmas and birthdays felt so much more great and funnier than now, I would look forward to it for months and I would wake early without almost having slept at all.
Now I'm offically grown up and it doesn't really feel so special. Okay I can get my own packages at the postal office and drink alcohol (if I'd want to anyway...) and drive I guess. Haha I don't know what I think maybe being grown up is a little of both, because now it is so obvious I'm no longer a child which is good in many ways I guess but sometimes I feel like Peter Pan: I don't wanna grow up!!!
I sometimes reread books and think "but what I know she was older than that! I always imagined her as a super old girl" and then I realize how fast I've become older...

Anyways now I am home in Sweden again which I of course have missed in many ways even though I liked it in Holland too, especially since I like Tim so much:P but after all I am born in a country full of forests, hills, mountains and meadows so I missed the nature a bit and my family and cats. And when I got home again everything felt so weird and I still speak english by mistake sometimes like in the shop and stuff when I'm going to pay! So many things have changed here for example I got a baby sister (Julia) and my brother grew like crazy (he thinks I've been in an airplane the whole month though, when he saw me in the morning first thing he said was: oh Alexandra has come down now!) and my kittens grew too and are now 5 wild mini-lions that like to think of my feet as their preys, and oh how I love my room. Being away from places and people make you see things from another point of view somehow and when I came home I realized that I love my room for some reason and I thought "oh I really do have a good taste" haha.

But even now when I'm home and I meet my best friend and my sister and family there is always one thing missing and that is Tim. So being home is nice but still not.

I think that's all I had to say for now :P

Take care people!

SAILING AMSTERDAM 2010

Some days ago I was with Tim and his grandmother and grandfather to SAILING AMSTERDAM 2010 where you could look at big ships and boats. There were snackbars, vitaminbars, candy and carousels and all kind of stuff and I had a lot of fun except that the camera battery was unloaded and I when I got to the most beautiful ships with golden details, and super big ones as well as other things I couldn't take any more photos:( It made me very sad haha. Tim bought a hat which was a bit too small but otherwise looked very good on him and I was given a beautiful ring which I now wear everyday and love:P and I had candy floss and got extremely sticky hands! Anyhow it was really annoying that thing with the camera because there was a really stunning sundown:(

Anyways, here are some of the few photos I took before it got dark and beautiful (:( )

There were lots of people.

Long & big ships!

Lots of birds found themselves in paradise around eating people:p

Tim & I had french fries mmmm:) Never tasted any fries like THAT in Sweden.

Oh and coca cola of course :D

They even had boats from Sweden! hihi! This person kind of ruined my photo a bit, I really did not intend to put her in it, I hope she doesn't mind too much. But there were people everyywhereeeee.

A'DAM

Me and Tim went by train to Amsterdam or A'dam as some dutch people say. Tim said he hated it even before I set my foot there and that I certainly would to. There are lots and lots of people in Amsterdam, believe me, Tim had to grab my arm and drag me everywhere because he was afraid of losing me in the masses. Also a thing I am personally not used to in Sweden is that people smoke everywhere, in the streets while walking, in the shoppingcentres, in cafés and even restaurants. I hate when people smoke among other people. And also there were lots of tourists running in and out of souvenirshops and taking photos of everything, and people biked a little everywhere and not a single person cared about the traffic lights. GREEN - Everyone walks of course. YELLOW- Everyone walks of course. RED- Everyone STILL walks of course! And in many places there was thsi really strong and weird smokesmell, Tim told me it was grass/marijuana, yes people even smoke THAT in the streets!
There were lots of shops everywhere, I looked in some and there was one shop I really really loved, it was exactly my kind of style, it was called BERSHKA, I never heard of it before, I bought a dress there with polka dots (you'll see everything I bought in Holland later), I was about to buy jeans too but there was an emergency with Tim because he was obviously dying of boredom so I gave in when I saw his face. haha! We ate at Mcdonald's and it was of course crowded everywhere so we went out to look if there was some place to sit but people were everywhere, luckily we found a table underneath some kind of tent, and if you believe that there was ever silence in Amsterdam you're SO wrong! The noise was soooo loud I had to shout to make Tim hear me whenever I wanted to say something, and that day there was some kind of carnival too so they sang loudly and danced on wagons. And Tim said "There is always something going on in Amsterdam. It is never quiet. Not even at night"
And he should know because he used to go to school there until this summer actually...

There were also lots of "statues" everywhere, but they weren't really statues, it was just people standing everywhere pretending to be statues in different clothes and armours, they would stand very still and sometimes they would move just to point their finger at you or do signs or change position. Tim said they did that for charity. It was pretty cool I think. They wanted me to come and stand next to them so we could have our picture taken but I didnt want to do that because all tourists did that and it felt so humilating haha! I didn't take a photo of them all, which I maybe should have but it was pretty hard to take photos in Amsterdam because there were people every every every where...  Actually I don't like Amsterdam so much, it was too crowded, too loud, too big and too dangerous to me haha, so Harlem is my favourite city here I think, so much more calmer!

So yah, here are some of the few and not so proffessional photos I took...

One of the "statues"

HAHAHAHAH

I wanted to go here but there was a supersuper long queue:(

De Nieuwe School. This was Tim's school, he just graduated from it. Seriously it is super slim and supertall! So Hollandish!

You could see horse and carriage pretty much everywhere, I felt so sorry for them because people kept running up to pet them even though the driver said no and cars drove close behind them and it was so noisy and only hard pavement to walk on + warm. IIII was exhausted! Pooooor horses:( You had to pay lots just for one ride too.

Hey folks!

Sorry once again for not posting any updates, I have had some stomachache so I could not post anything as I had planned, oh well I am now editing photos from both yesterday's event as well as for some days ago when I was in Amsterdam. Tomorrow I am going home to Sweden again and it will be both fun and sad, fun because I can finally see all my friends and family as well as my kittens and cats but sad because I have had a really good time here and I love Tim deeply, and I will miss him. Let's hope I won't cry like a baby at the airport... Anyways Tim thinks it is so much fun when I make "fake movie posters/covers" and he has begged me several of times to make a poster ft. him being "cool" haha:) So I made an action cover of course, and I am in it a bit as well, I called it DELUSION , sounded like a good name for an action movie /thriller, somehow. Oh well here it is! :D

I hope Tim likes it...and you

Sailing

I am soon going to go out sailing with my boyfriend, his family and their friends so I will update with some pictures from that perhaps, I dont quite know since the weather is not so very promising and it looks grey and about to rain out... Oh well, I'll bring the camera anyways, also there will soon be an update about my visit in Amsterdam yesterday:) Hang on folks!

And oh I've designed my sister's blog a while ago, I will post shots of the layout up later as well as an upcoming layout for a new "client"

Have a good day!!

De Olmenhorst

Today Tim and I went with his family to an applegarden called "De Olmenhorst" I liked it a lot because they had so many appletrees and pear trees and lots of cute flowers and houses with plants climbing on it and , there was a little cafee and a shop where you could buy healthy and cute things such as cups, flavoured soaps and painted things of all kinds as well as chocolate and honey, jam and fruits and things:) I liked it, both Tim and I said "cute." at the same time, hihihi! I stole an apple just to taste it, it was niiice but Tim said you're not allowed to do that but no one noticed ;p Later Tim and I had hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and I had delicious brownie to that (Tim had a tosti as they call it -toast)  yums!

Cute.

A little bit of everything

Here is finally a new report from Holland:) Tim and I have done a lot, we've went to watch "Eclipse" on the cinema even though we'd already seen it... But you gotta experience it on the cinema with dutch subtitles and everything right!  ;) I miss my family, especially my sister though, I went to a perfume shop and bought her a golden nailpolish after reading her blog and seeing she really wanted it and had been looking al over for it ha, so I tried it out just for her to see what it looks like on nails, a bought a red one for me...hm acutally I like the golden one too, I didnt think I would. And I also went for a shoppingspree in Harlem together with Tim's mom, I am not sure if I already said that... anyhow I will show you the stuff I've boughts and make some outfits out of it later and they will eventually and hopefully be put on Lookbook for everyone to see.

I am reading a lot, less than I thought I would though but anyways I picked it up again after weeks of not reading at all and I finished the second book in the Deluxe serie and loved it and now I just started on the third book by Montogomery's..something something Anne of Green Gables, and I already love it:) Those books are really old but I still think all should read them, they are wondeful!! Truly, and different and about small everydaythings but still interesting. You don't have to be almost-killed by Lord Voldemort or carry a dangerous and powerful ring to be inetersting, meeee thinksssss :)

Here are some random and mixed photos from Holland:)

The softness of the rosepedals will forever remind me of your lips

You have my heart in your hands

Some flowers I plucked with Tim (`ìsn't this enough alreadyyyyy!´)

The golden nailpolish for my sistaaa!

Poppy. I named my babycat after this beautiful flower!

This somehow makes me feel a bit poetish... ?

Uhh I wish I was a frog so I could jump and bump from one blade to another. It seems like a wonderful thing to do :p

Beaaautifuuul<3

A day at the museum

Tim, Saranya and I went to Naturalis, a museum, the other day. It is in Leiden, not too far away from Hillegom. I liked it a looooot, especially the stuffed animals even though they look so sad an' all, I really do hope they did not kill those animals but that they stuffed them after their death, Tim says he thinks they did, let's hope so:) Anyways when you take a photo of them, a lot of them look really alive, though tellin' ya they were stonedead, believe me, though perhaps they'll come alive in the night just like in that movie A Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller:) That'd be cool, right? It looked really cool in there, with several of floors where you could look down and see the other floors and really cool ceiling and all. We ate there too and I took a really yummy chocolate cupcake mmmm! It was cool to see the super big skeletons of the dino's too!

I took a couple of photos and I am sorry to say that they kind of suck because it was dark in there which means: Highest ISO, grainy and still daarrk, well well...

The ceiling:)

There was a mommy and lots of cute little chickens:)

There was a sign that said you could pet this dog if you wanted to, it was sooo soft! I wonder whose dog it was... What would it be like to have your dog stuffed at a museum so everyone could pet it? Weird I think.

That goat looked SO real!!

A really sucky photo.

AWWWW! A babbyyyzeeebra!

The ceiling again haha, I must be truly fucked up :p

Haha this reminds me of that monkey in Night at the museum, the one who steals his keys, hihihi!

A mammut:) (Tim says: You killed Manny?! You bastards!)

The beach

Some days ago, Tim, his dad and I went to the beach eh...somewhere I am not sure what it is called, anyways it was suuuuuuper big and you could walk super far on it:) It was in the evening though so it was a bit chilly and the water was icecold... But I took some pictures anyway while Tim was playing around and fighting with his dad, as well as chasing birds like a madman:) Tim's dad said Tim stands like Donald Duck and I said Charlie Chaplin... Anyways before we went to the beach we passed flowers fields and made a stop on one of them which was red beatiful flowers (I wanted to pluck them but there were houses there so I decided it was better not to) After being at the beach we went looking through some shop windows and then to Mcdonald's, btw we found sunglasses in the water which Tim now uses.

Here below are some photos:

Groenendaal

Today I went to a big forest named Groenendaal together with Tim:) We biked there (me on Tim's bike because I fall when I bike on his mother's, so he took his mother's) And we biked through a lovely neighbourhood where I pointed out I would like to have a house built:) haha Anyways there was like some playground for kids there or something you could enter and buy icecream and stuff (you had to pay for entering, FUCKERS!!!) and we boguht icecream (2 for me), fries, some weird snack, frikadel, for tim (Tim said it was made of a horse's penis which I really doubt) and soda:) You could also pet cute goats, sheep and other cute stuff haha, but the forest was greeaaat, superbig beautiful and awesome... Exceptionally good for photos... Tim thought I was boring ("More...walking?...") Here are some photos you guyys! I've also been to the beach and a museum, I'll post that in the upcoming entries!

Doesn't just take your breath away?

Tim wore the sunglasses we found at the beach:) HOOTTNESSS

This hot chick wanted to be photographed ;)
